About the Speakers

Annie Kiser is an Advisor at Maia Wealth Management, an independently registered Investment Advisory firm located in Denver Colorado. She was drawn to Wealth Management after receiving her masters degree in Community and Behavioral Health, recognizing that our daily interaction with money is a foundation of health and well-being. She is particularly fond of working with artists and entrepreneurs, helping to bring structure, clarity, and abundance to their creative vision. 

Annie is also the Co-Founder of Global Health Disrupted, a progressive arts and science based non-profit committed to tackling global health challenges by investing in and mentoring community based entrepreneurs in the Global South. Annie is passionate about the growing field of impact investing and finding ever creative ways to use finance as a tool for social change. 


Darcy Borella is a Certified Financial Planner and registered investment advisor who helps her clients make smart financial decisions while keeping the process relaxed, engaging, and inspiring. As a fiduciary advisor, her mission is to have a positive impact on clients’ financial lives by empowering each of them to achieve their life goals. She loves working with small business owners, women, and young professionals looking to create a path towards financial independence.

Outside of work, Darcy is the president of Mile High Young Professionals, a 500+ member organization that promotes development and growth of young professionals in Denver. She was honored as one of “Colorado’s Finest Young Professionals” by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in 2019, and continues to support the Rocky Mountain chapter.  When she isn’t volunteering or helping clients, Darcy enjoys spending time at home with her husband, Rob, and their “foster fail”, Wallace.
